Marie A. Haraburda has worked the past 20 years in positions ranging from non-profit leadership to executive positions in the corporate world. Most notably, she worked for several years in Chicago in marketing communications for a leading national insurance company, CNA, where she received the CEO’s Gold Focus Nowaward for project management, an award received by less than 2% of CNA employees nationwide.
Marie worked for the world’s largest steel company, ArcelorMittal, in the greater Chicagoland area from 2006 – 2011, and was lead recruiter for the U.S. supply chain division of the global giant. Marie is an honor graduate of Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in English, Communications, and Secondary Education. During her high school and college careers, Marie received several academic honors and local and national recognition for her writing ability. She pursued her MBA studies at Purdue University North Central in Valparaiso, Indiana.
Marie is committed to community stewardship; her activities include being a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary, post 1405, in Spencer, Indiana. Marie currently works as Assistant Director, Student Services, for Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in Bloomington, Indiana; considered by many to be one of the top business colleges in the United States .
